Not sure if I'm a numpty, but for the life of me I can't fit the front pegs. The return spring stops me pushing the locating pin through.

Any ideas?

Having fitted and removed the lowered pegs to my previous GSA and fitted them again to my new GSA I have had some recent experience of this. The key to it is ensuring that the longer pin of the spring is inserted into the hole in the back of the mounting and then you have to push the peg into the mounting against the spring in order to insert the pin. Be very careful with the circlip that locates into the bottom of the pin. It is very easy to let that flick off when removing it or refitting it and then you'll spend ages looking for it on your garage floor!

Thanks both. I did it yesterday evening - instead of trying to line it up perfectly and push the pin through (against the spring pressure), I twisted the peg at an angle to get pin through the peg. Getting the pin through the lower part of the bracket was then simple.

No worries on the clip. I bought a box load of assorted e-clips after paying BMW £5.00 for one of the screen clips - it pinged off for no apparent reason...
