My 1200GS has Hepco and Becker bars and I was wondering if any of you blokes have attached additional fold away pegs to your protection bars allowing you stretch the old weary legs -- a bit like a cruiser?
I have done it to the bottum of the bars but they can catch when cornering even when folded back and I am not totally happy with the result. I cannot use what I have for the top section as the bars are parrallel with the barrels.
Look forward to some new ideas thanks, Roger

Hi Roger,

I know what you mean, on my 400km straight hiway weekly commute I sometimes rest my legs on top of the H&B bars, I think you won't find anything made for this application for the GS, the purists would bulk at the idea.... but I think if you look for Harley or other cruiser assessories you may find crash bar mounted pegs, I know that Harley has a bunch. Just have to get the correct diameter for fixing or make up a sleave as I guess the Hog stuff would be a beefier bar size that the H&B bars.

'Navigator' may be able to help, he had some cruiser pegs on his 1200 when we visited Italy earlier this year.

Neat idea & looked bloody comfy too.
