Footrest lowering kit

Hi. Just fitted low seat to my 2014 RT. Now I need to Lowe the footrests to suit my creaky knees. Have bought the Wunderlich kit but...... The installation instructions provided are, to me, as clear as mud. Has anyone out there had experience of fitting this kit and can offer advice/guidance.

I too have installed that kit to my 2015 LC, no issues and didn't require adjustment of either the gear shifter or brake lever, should you require any assistance you can contact me here in the first instance.

I found that if the levers were not lowered, it was not so easy to shift or brake.
