Many find the rear shock/spring to be a little light in damping. Shock Factory, who offer nicely improved shocks at affordable cost, unfortunately haven't offered one for the CB500X. But that may soon change according to this email I just received from Martin.
Following on from my previous email, Shock Factory currently have a
CB500X in the workshop to develop a M-Shock for the bike. Should be
available for order in a few weeks, all being well.
