Model is a Transit 100 T350L RWD with 12 Months MOT, this Camper Van is ready for exploring Europe or just lazy days at the seaside, with everything you will need on board.
The benefit of buying a home build Camper Van is getting a camper for so much less than a bespoke industry converter marque. But I found out a major problem of buying a home-build is the electrics, when I wanted to be able to have a more reliable Off-Grid Hook-Up-Free capability. That meant changing from the three large and heavy, lead acid batteries, to a lighter more compact, more reliable and much more powerful lithium battery. The problem is professional installers don’t want to try and work out the non-standard electrical system on a home build Camper Van.
I was lucky in finally finding Blue Fix Energy Solutions who were happy to sort out the camper electrics and install a lithium battery and Solar Panel set-up. This was completed to a higher spec than many brand new camper vans currently being sold.
It was not cheap at £2500 but the spec list is top rate:
