My Sister is selling their Ford Mondeo estate. It’s a 2009 year 2.0l petrol. It’s only had 2 keepers since new including my Sister, they have owned it since 26.10.2017. It’s covered 81235 miles. They just want it gone so £500.

My sister can’t currently find the service history, it might be in their workplace as their company pays the servicing and MOT bills. It has been serviced by the local garage every year since they have had it. It get its annual service at the same time as the MOT, which is carried out by the same garage. If they can’t find the service history in the office they will ask the local garage to print off the history from their records.

This car has been the family workhorse, used for commuting, carrying around the kids and the dog and doing the dump runs and anything else that’s needed a big load area.

Mechanically it has wanted for nothing. It has never broken down. Wear and tear items replaced when needed. All works carried out by the local mechanics at the garage. I’ve asked if there are any current issues with the car. The only issue is a lose connection on the radio / media unit so it works intermittently. The radio has been replaced with a media unit that uses Apple CarPlay. The air conditioning works fine.

Their new car arrives on Tuesday so this is ready to go.

I am visiting my sister so took the photos before they have had a chance to clean it. I have tried to show the damage that it has. Cosmetically it’s not brilliant but no rust that I could see and it’s nothing that impacts on the usability of the vehicle. The dent on the front wing was caused by someone at the work dropping something on the wing. The corners have the usual parking scrapes.

Photos obviously taken before car cleaned. I think it’s a lot of car for £500.

If you’re interested send me a PM and I’ll pass on my sisters contact details.

I’ll add photos of the tyres a bit later today, forgot to take them when I was there but will get a chance to do it later on.

Lot of car for £500. Service history who cares. Buy drive till it stops. I’d have a go at that damage with a little ball pein hammer and a lump of wood. JJH

Thank you. I think there is loads of life left in this car. I agree re service history but it’s good to be able to prove it’s been well maintained

I have previously owned a Mondeo estate, great car and more room in the back than a small van with the rear seats folded. Jeremy Clarkson loved the Mondeo

A wee bump and I would you like to amend the car advert as may sister now has the full service history invoices from 2018.

It’s been treated to a wash, see the improved shiny car in the pictures. 3b4b6460-e3c5-4dce-b63c-8e8be584f68e.jpege1cad531-bb61-4713-9eb3-7c9edffa77d2.jpege96c87bc-dd33-4490-b229-936862796b82.jpeg90ba4583-11f5-46e1-877e-66801f1383a4.jpeg46976071-7b01-426c-9822-c63b840f7fe4.jpegab31f674-82f2-43f2-a1eb-95c6aff7e35e.jpeg

This is sooooo much car for the price of a short, dirty weekend and a gram of coke or a cheap bicycle.

Amazed it’s still here.
