It’s quite funny now.
I kind of did this because most sales posts here have loads of people asking knowledgeable sounding questions which are politely answered - then, nothing.
No intent to buy at all.
If I actually want to buy something advertised I’ll pm the seller directly with address details and which payment method is preferred. I would not usually offer less than asking, since most stuff is pretty fairly priced, and most people on here are pretty decent - I’ve been on here 20 odd years and people know where I live. It’s not like dealing with some scrote off eBay.
If the purchase is conditional, I’ll say so e.g I’ll buy your jacket subject to it coming from a non smoking household, or if you guarantee all the zips work.
Easy. I’m telling the seller I’m buying it, unless the condition is not met.
Yet people fiddle around making an offer of £5 less.
I was maybe a bit harsh up front, but really, what do you need to know that’s not on the ad or on the website? It’s a grey Mongolia trail jacket in good condition with all the zips and fasteners working and no rips or tears? And it’s cheap.
