For seaching Wombats deep under water...

Can anyone guide me about the breather hoses I need to extend and where they are located (other than the air intake :rolleyes: ).

I can't afford any damage this weekend since I've Morroco in two weeks. :beer:
 
Right at the back of the bike - the thing with a rubber/plastic cover on it?

Yep. That's the one. There used to be a thread about it somewhere on the forum, or you could try ADVRider.com.
 
You can stick a bit of hose pipe on it, then take that down to 8mm OD silicone tube (I've got miles of that if you need some) and cable tie it up swing arm, up the frame (with lots of loop for flexing) then up under the frame or seat.....

I don't bother though.....all I do after a fords run is check the final drive oil for any signs of emulsification..I carry a litre of oil for every ford run I lead now for exactly that purpose...if it's milky, chenge it then and there (5 mins max, 1 allen key is all you need)

Even with all the time my bike's spent underwater, I've never found any water ingress in there.......on the last fords ride at Princetwon though, we changed the oil on four bikes IIRC.

Just check it and you'll be ok.
