So I was arsing about on the web last night trying to figure out what I'd do with the red beak on the 1100GS. I have an 1150ADV SE tank that I want to fit but my touch of bike OCD would demand that the beak is somehow matched.

So I found two places that sell the Alpine White paint in a spray can.

Color-Rite in the USA but I didn't email them about shipping over this side

Just thought I'd share the knowledge as when I had my SE, I was fecked if I could find matching paint.

take a colour code in or a part, and they,l match it,

Essjay a lot of Car body / paint factors had scanners

You take the bit in they scan it and they give you the paint in an aerosol

I'm not sure now how things works as the Eurotwats have banned cellulose and Isocyanate hardeners for 2 pack and paints are water based??????

What a pack of wankers better they turn thier attentions to the exhaust fumes of the 3rd world rather than meddle with our paint!

Its only Alpine White .............

I did a painting course at my local collage and used their scheme to mix as much as needed , not much left in my garage that isn't Alpine White or Motorad Blue .......
