For your consideration: Not Dead Yet - The Video Series

Massive Thankyou!

Watched the videos, and read the book, (Kindle). What an epic journey! What an adventure. To say "Well done", isn`t enough. Hats off to you. Brilliant story telling, and great videos. Don`t know how you managed to do it all, especially when things went pear shaped. Thanks again. Phil. :beerjug:

Hi folks,
Nothing so dramatic - and thanks to Paul the moderator for giving me a kick in the shins......(Really like the its my ball and i'm not playing anymore metaphor!)

All that happened was when I was looking at the analytics - no one was watching them..... no pirate stuff...no tv deal.... nothing sordid..... i just got a pain in my hole ..... best analogy i can give you is it was like playing to an empty room - of course then today I got a shit load of requests to put them back up....which was a total surprise....

so here you go!

All the vids are here...

Hi Oisin

Absolutely wonderful stuff - many thanks for taking the time to prepare and post. Unfortunately I only discovered these very recently and had only got to the end of the truck journey though Mongolia - what a nightmare.

I've tried following the link to www.youtube.com/user/roguebikers?feature=guide. I can see it's your site, but when I click the videos tab it says "This channel has no videos." Am I doing something stupid?

Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Dave

Please keep this going, its been superb for all of us armchair wannabes

or maybe someone is making a documentary with them and took the videos down while it is being edited.

They must have taken Oisin down too then since he hasn't been seen or heard from about here since the second time he took the vids down. He's been gone off fb for months now as well.

To all

Due not been able to see his videos can you tell me where he was last before he vanished!!!!!!!!!!!!! will ask my sister to have a look if any kidnaping/ransom have been asked for

Oisins Videos

After much searching I have found his videos. It seems he thought that there was no interest, I feel that ranks alongside the KTM decision not to lend Charley and Ewan a couple of bike in terms of misjudgement but it is his call.

You can find them here. I hope he comes out of retirement, for me these are the best around and I think most agree from the posts from all around the world I have seen trying to track these down.

Anybody seen him active online recently ?

Anybody seen him online recently ?

I actually have the rest of the videos in that series (parts 24 to 34)
(downloaded them from Youtube before he deleted them in June)

Wonder if he'd mind if I uploaded them to Vimeo or Youtube...

Er, did you click on the link in the post above yours... :blast

Have a message from "Devilrider" saying he's uploading them as fast as Vimeo's free upload limit will let him.

Yes. And on Vimeo I see parts 1 to 23.
Can't see parts 24 to 34. Can you ?

No. But the other day there were only parts 1 to 20. How can I explain it better? Vimeo has an upload limit of so many Mb per day or week I don't know exactly. The Devilrider guy has all the episodes, same as you. However, he can't put them all up at once, because Vimeo won't let him upload that much without paying. So he's doing a few a week until he's got them all up there.

You of course can do as you please, I'm just trying to explain what is going on.

And, if you look at this thread (post 20 on page 2):

You will see that Oisin seems to be back in communication. :clap

Oisin's Vids are classic and brilliant insight on how he feels on the road alone, and he has to be admired for travelling solo and s continually stopping to set his video footage!
Blood brilliant vids!
Just need to find the other 11, watched the first 23 over the past day or so!

( Try using "Opera" browser if footage or content is blocked in your country due to copyright. www.opera.com and download either of the Opera browsers and enable "offroad" or "Opera Turbo" mode." Opera downloads web content via it's own servers in theses modes and bypasses a lot of blocks re copyright. )
