Oisin, a question ? Two actually, did you upload all the video to some sort of a cloud as you went, just in case you dropped your camera or ballixed your laptop and do you have to ask permission to use the music as a background. By the way, excellent stuff. I think that there are loads of us couch spuds wild jealous !

for the video i brought portable hard drives - the WD? I had 10 of the 500GB variety.... for the same price now you can bring 1TB...! :-)

For the music... I use Audio network.....

You can buy the royalties for the music for a personal production for a quid... now if it ever goes on to be anything you can just go and buy the production version.... but its amazing because if you just use any music you want... youtube will add lots of adds, or the music wont play in certain countries....

Oisin, in the last video you said something like you should only do a trip for yourself because nobody else will give a shit, well I think it's safe to say plenty of us give a shit and are glad you did do it, glad for the fact you recorded it and mostly glad that you never gave up. :clap

I understand that the books are a fantastic read, however since I read at the speed of a 5 year old the chances are slim so if it wasn't for the videos I'd have missed out. I do think the videos show something the books wouldn't and that is the emotion of it all be that happy or sad and the fact that you show both is a lot of why everyone likes you so much.

On your next trip (I hope there is one) I'd say you'll have no end of support, texts, emails, piss taking, encouragement etc. In fact not so long ago there was a thread on here wondering where you had disappeared to or if you were away on another adventure.

Series 2 about 4 hours long
Seris 1 only about 2 hours long....

Still long enough to be star wars though right! :-)
