Fork brace re coating

I have got hold of a spare fork brace of the flakey rotting type do I

Shot blast it / clean upand then

1. Paint it?

2. Powder coat it?

3. Anodise it?

4. Polish it?

5. Something else?

and then put it somewhere the sun don't shine?

Polish or powder coat . whatevers easier for you .

put it on the bike - then claim a new one under warranty like everyone else does.

you must have the club one - pass it round when you've got your new one.

flog the new one on Ebay- like everyone else does - you know the rules.

same goes for the 'worn' rear wheel bearing.
