Has anybody got a quick way of replacing fork seals on a 1100?

Was hoping that you can undo from fork bridge, drain oil, and do in situ. MMMh maybe refilling with oil might be difficult d'oh. Least you don't get a spring hitting you in the face, lol.

Any quick ideas.

hello there,

Its no hard to change them.

1) remove calipers and wheel
2) undo nuts on top yokes holding the stanchions
3) angle the fork legs, so you can remove stanchions from the space between top yoke and radiator
4) remove dust seals then circlips then seals.

You need 0.47 lt of oil.

thats all, I hope it helps! IF not I will try better next time!

agis

ps.
for the stanchions you will need a 22mm spanner
