'82 R100RS. I've just replaced the stanchions after changing the steering head bearings and there is a slight weep of fork oil from between the top of the stanchion and the under side of the top yoke on one side only. I've had a look on Realoem:

and was hoping to see some sort of seal, possibly an O ring at the top of the tube, but there doesn't seem to be one. The face of the stanchion and where it joins up against the top yoke are free of burrs.
So how come it leaks, FFS?
