Forks; GS - v - g/s

Hoping for some advice/information please;

I have a ST that is more of a g/s, and am wanting to upgrade the front forks.

I was hoping someone could provide me with the difference in length between the g/s forks, and the paralever GS forks.
basically I want to fit the GS forks but do not want to have the rear lengthened so I can keep the bike at standard g/s height and length.
I can either drop the GS forks through the yokes, or get the springs altered to drop the length, but I need to know the difference in length between the GS and g/s
