Forma / Gaerne Strap Compatibility?

I'm asking around on the innernet for help on this.

Do any of you guys know if the straps on Forma boots are compatible with Gaerne boots?

Specifically, the upper two straps on my Gaerne GX-1 Evo boots are too short to allow me to wear them over my leather pants. Under my textile pants is fine.

Spare Gaerne straps max out at 140mm length - same as standard OE on my GX-1s.

But Forma straps look very similar (in online pics) to Gaerne straps, and come in a 180mm length.

So, anyone know if Forma straps fit Gaerne boots?

For anyone interested, I did a McGyver job, trimming and stitching a couple of OE Gaerne straps together. Not particularly pretty, but effective.
