Totally original, other than - rear rack MOTAD system &
H4 headlight fitted.
Last owner got it 01-08-1984.
Never seen rain & never un garaged at night.
Purely a summer play thing.
Just needs a proper going over, darn good polish & general fettle..
But nothing that takes away its originality..

Speaking of originally -
Under the seat is as new.
Fuel tank paintwork is superb.
Amazing after 47 years.

At first glance I thought this was an F1 because of the four into one exhaust.
I had the F1 version with the same smooth engine. I later had the twin cam 750 but didn't like it as much as the original. Lovely bike.👍

Well done Ash, first thing I'd do is remove that rear rack as it spoils the lines of the bike.

Very nice 😎 Has it still still got the owners manual in the little holder under the seat?

I'd a 78' F2 as my first big bike in 1982 which came out at the same time as the K7. That looks a tidy one health to enjoy.

Trouble is I need to carry things, my walking sticks, neater to take my meds etc.
So will need a top box, but I'll get a period correct Rickman.
Like I've got on my CB400A ..

If I recall the rear rack for the 550/750 had two knurled wheels you could undo and pivot half the rack backwards to access the seat.

Fine looking bike, Ash.
