Fourth headlight globe blown

At 70k kms I'm now on my fifth headlight globe ; is anyone using a particular brand of globe that seems to be lasting well ?

Are you driving out on dirt roads?

If so try an HID set up there is no filament to vibrate and break

The standard bulbs blow fairly regularly........must be the vibes. The "Extra Output" lamps go even quicker. As above, HID is the way.

Doh... that'll explain a lot...

but then the light that burns twice as bright...

I put Phillips Extreme bulbs in 2 1/2 years ago. Have yet to have one blow. Ride all year all weathers all roads
