Fourth West Cork Run, "Now, where, when and who is organising the next event."

What a great weekend :clap thanks Richie for giving us an excuse to visit that part of the world again. It was great to meet up with some familiar faces and some new ones too..
We stayed down by the peer for a couple of hours after we left ye,as its hard to leave Alliheys any time but nearly impossible when the sun is out.Nora read a book on the beach and I done a bit of fishing but failed to catch supper so we had a bite to eat in Mac's.Then under orders from herself we traveled on to Zetland peer for a cuppa and a bit of peace and quiet but there were half a dozen campers (2 of them were french) a pile of kids (half of them in swimming and jumping off the peer).. canoes all over the place:blast but still what a great place to be as the sun was going down.
Hope to do it all again next time..
Jim + Nora

Here are a few photos I took on a bit of an off road spin I had with Kami.I love being up high near the coast the views from the hills are awesome and the camera doesn't do it justice.

Gerry laad there wasn't a single blade of grass damaged by by our wee bikes the whole weekend but there were a good few bottles of cider annihilated:friday. As for Kami's sambos people would gladly throw themselves down mine shafts if they tought there was a chance of one of those culinary masterpieces. :comfort

Are you ok to ride Trials bikes to 'explore' - if so wouldn't mind bringing my 4RT another year

Kami or HP2 should answer that.

Alliheys is one of the nicest places on the planet and very walker friendly. A large part of the buisness the guest houses etc get is directly from this. It suited me at the time to chance a wee offroad spin but it was a one off. Maybe another place another time.
