No no no not a back-hander to the dealer .... but the insert thinghy that's fitted into the swing-arm hole in the LEFT side of the frame? It's tearing the inside heal area of my left boot apart  I realise I could move my foot out a little but my normal position is with my heal resting against the bung. So can it be swapped for an alternative?

I bought my bike used so not sure what may be original, what may have been added, but there's "bungs" in both ends of the swing-arm tube - I've seen what appear to be the right hand version for sale (eg eBay) and mine (RH) is retained with a centre screw but the left hand one has no obvious means of removal leading me to think it's original. A piece of gaffer tape helps but I'd prefer a more "respectable" solution!

Any thoughts??

if you remove this (its not an accessory , the rhside one is) wouldnt your boot continue to rub but now against bare metal edge of s/arm hole ?
try moving your foot.
