When I changed the rear shock on my 1250 last week all but two of the rubber band type straps that hold on the BMW Frame Protectors fell to bits (the rubber had perished .... suppose not too bad since they have been on three bikes ).
However, the shock was the price each from BMW just under £3 each . Went onto E Bay and found these and ordered a couple of sets .
Only after placing the order did I realise they were from China so braced myself for a long wait ...they turned up within 5 days and the quality is absolutely fine and the spares will be of use for holding wiring looms etc

Snap, that's exactly what i did. My rubbers started to split and literally some just fell off while riding. Bought a few from BMW and then thought what a piss take so went on ebay and bought these. Seems good quality, probably at least as good as the BMW stuff, ever so slightly smaller than the BMW stuff but still fit and look OEM. Best bit is I got 10 for £5.99 what's not to like. Time will tell how long they last but at that price its a no brainer.

I paid less than £4 for 20 from Ali Express.
