frame saver from old handgrip

anyone having trouble with your boot rubbing paint off the left frame ive found a neat /cheap solution
take one old handgrip from /garage /breakers wherever
cut one of the raised edges off
split it lenghthways drill a couple of holes
and just secured it with a cable tie on the inside
..looks neat
..its not the easiest shape to deal with and works really well ...
better than rubbed paint any way
heres one i made earlier ...if you got a new one do it sooner than later
unlike me 1st time round
begs the question should we having to do this ?? hey ho

By the way, if you want to touch up the paint, Hammerite spray on silver is a good match.
