France - Crit D'Air Emissions Stickers

The French ‘Federation of Angry Bikers’ were out across France yesterday, protesting about the ‘ZFE’ pollution controls, under the banner of ‘Les #Gueux’. It’s all very French in its revolution fervour and language:

"We purify the air of the rich by chasing the poor," says Alexandre Jardin, writer, filmmaker, whistleblower and initiator of the collective "Les # Gueux".

It's a bit like spending a couple of quid on a pack of Rennies to take on holiday. Hope you do not need to use it but you might have a miserable night if you didn't take them.
I should probably get one but for which town/city?
Is there one that is acceptable in more places?
I am aware that the form asks about emissions and this information is not on my Motorhome V5 so I am unable to provide it. This may prevent me from getting one.

It covers all of France.
I believe all the info you need is on the V5. If you don’t have the emissions, send it in anyway and attach a PDF copy of the V5 to the application.

only complete the mandatory fields on the form, marked with an asterisk I think

as long as the base vehicle is in the database, the robot will fill in the blanks

I ordered one last year and it came back in less than a week.

Just done one, sticker arrived 12 days later
You get a certificate e mailed straight away
£4.29

Is the Crit air scheme still going - I can’t seem to get on the French government website.
Thanks

I bought one for my motorhome, simply as I was passing by / through Rouen and Le Mans and could’t be arsed to work out if I was actually entering the zone, the cost being less than a pint of London Pride.

I did’t bother for my car, though I went on the same route. Again, as I couldn’t be arsed. The French fuzz have not been tugging my collar.

PS I do though pay all speeding fines which land on my mat. Many don’t.

I put one on my car as I was spending a lot of time in Lyon a while back, for the cost of the sticker it wasn't a huge investment

They are currently talking about scrapping them as they effectively discriminate against the less financially well off road users, I don't think the fine for not having one was ever established

In truth I'd say you've got more chance of knitting fog than getting busted by French plod
