France. Insurance

My brother is now living permanently in France and is looking for bike insurance and seems to be getting some crazy quotes.

Any of our french riders got any reccomendations as to where to try and what issues are good to reduce the premium.

In Denmark we only insure for 8 or 9 months per year (snow issue!) and that saves on the premium.

I use an AXA insurance agent in Montrichard (41) who have a lady biker who is very helpful. Phone Cabinet Langlais 02 54 32 00 53 Ask for Sylvie. I insure a BMW R60 cafe racer with them for 230 euros per year which seems pretty good. Hope this helps.
