I can thoroughly recommend this place.
Stumbled across it as a bolt hole when the heatwave temperatures made travelling unbearable (for wussy me anyway). Stayed for 4 days and will come back on the bike and bring Mrs Skippy in the car too.
The area is superb for biking, empty roads, fabulous towns, many with magnificent castles and Chateau, dotted all over the region and a 5 minute ride away is the gorgeous town of Richelieu.

Delightful host's and GSA riders to boot. If he has time (and he will do all he can to make it), Roberto will take you out on a small tour of the region. We did an easy 150km ride following the Loire river, crossing it several times, visited a couple of towns with castles an drank coffee in typical French bars. Perfect!
Both speak excellent English (they are Belgian) and French (and Spanish - he's originally from Bolivia)
There's also a Gîte available on site
