FREE BikeSafe Course

Ride to the cotswolds a fair bit, some fantastic roads there!!
BUT................... having done a "few" bikesafes, passed IAM and RoSPA Gold and done loads of other training including class 1 training - what can i get out of these courses now? - not saying im gods gift to riding but tend to get the bikesafe guys/instructors to be nit picky when getting assessed!

To be honest, probably not a lot in it for you. As Rasher points out, you & riders like you are not our "target audience" although always welcome.
If however you have a friend or colleague that would benefit, point him or her in our direction.:beerjug:

Find a lot of training is geared toward novice/less experienced riders, but there is always something that can be learned from further training as different people pick up on different things and have different styles, just pick out what works for me and blend it into my riding!

I'll put the link on my group to see if there are any takers!

I attended a Bikesafe course last weekend run by North wales police. It was extremely well run, informative and a bargain to boot. I'd like to extend a huge thank you to Paul who ran the course and Rod, my observer on the first day. All the observers are volunteers and give their time freely. The ride outs were on fantastic roads and it only rained once. I can wholeheartedly recommend the course for new bikers and old. At £10 for 2 days training its a steal.

I did a Bikesafe course last Friday with the Metropolitan Police near Bromley. There were only two of us on the course and two police riders so we did all the classroom stuff first and then spent the afternoon riding 1:1. We did some town riding with filtering before heading into the country lanes. Great weather and an informative and enjoyable ride. I would recommend the course to everyone.
