Excellent idea, unfortunately my ndrive sat nav doesn't work with Long/Lat

how does the battery fair up when the sat navs on ?
The iphone is awesome though, one of the lads at work has one and nearly everyday he has downloaded and app, 75% seem half decent aswell :D

I have an adapter to plug into the car, so it just keeps going. It is an awesome phone I must admit and now i've found a decent sat nav it fulfils all I need, Phone/Camera/sat nav/something to surf the net with, everything really. It does have some good apps as well, get your mate to download Talking Carl, its 59p, childish but we have had loads of fun with it, alcohol fuelled of course :thumb2

How deep is it buried ?
Do I need a shovel, or just a spinning rear !

Just below the surface. I was gonna hoof it into the bush, but a last minute change of plan had me worrying about starting a forest fire:eek:

I carried it with me all morning, well past where i was gonna hide it cos i forgot it was in the tankbag :blast

I think Ndrive is the Programe name and it has been adapted for the iphone, i'm sure Apple will bring out a sat nav app and it will cost a bleedin fortune :blast

bit of a personal question , but do you actually use the sat nav or it is one of those things you have just because

I dont have one , never found a need. I can see that those that drive for a living would want one, but sometimes i think that most of us have forgotton how to read a map

Sometimes, TBH i'm also the old school and use a map most of the time. I just think its handy to have for an emergency and for just under a tenner is good value for money. We used it today, we were in Malvern and decided to head for Tewkesbury, only about 15 miles, the map was in the boot so i thought i'd use the sat nav on the phone. Worked a treat :D

Latest find is about 1/2 mile SE of Santom Downham near Thetford Forest, on a dead end road leading to a river :nenau

Time for bed now I'm afraid........see if anyone with a Garmin can work it out..........:thumb2
