free dvd/cd writng software

All I want to do is write cd/dvd,s but the prog Im using nero (packaged with dvd writer) keeps crashing & wont write a thing & seems too complicated for its own good when it does work.
So is there a free d/load writing software available?

I use Burnatonce, very nice, very small, very simple, very free (or was) Never tried it for DVDs though.

for dvd's... http://www.dvdsanta.com/ easy to use

for cds WWW.MUSICMATCH.COM not quite as easy but really good for storing your music on your pc and burning to disc

it's a pity you can't get nero to work 'cos it's the daddy.

awkward to get started with i'll grant you, but it does pretty much anything most people could want.
