FREE OFF ROAD WEEKEND

The wifes away for the weekend so Ive the run of our Peak District home to myself. Had a brilliant offroad sesh last Saturday and we plan on doing something similar this Sat.

I can put 2 or 3 people up for Sat night if anyone wants to come over and ride in the day then lash it up at night after a big feed. Maybe we can do some roads or more trails on Sunday morn.

We tend to use DR 350`s and the likes but dont mind takling the 1200 out. Someone good on a GS could cope.

Anyone welcome.

Would have taken you up on this but my wife is not away this weekend!! Was out in the Peaks a couple of weekends ago and had a SUPERB day - but blimey is it rockey!! I have an 1150GSA and it stays indoors, I use an XR400 for the true off roading (don't worry so much if a fall off then!)

Out of interest - where do you head out from (Ashborne end or Blue John Caverns end?)

Neither mate, Im at SK178SA a mile from Monsal head. There are trails right on the doorstep.

Will be moving up to the Peak District (Hathersage way) around end July! Look forward to meeting up and coming out from then. Looks like there's a good GS scene in the Peaks!

I am soooo pleased that I came and such a blast with you guys...the trails were , the company and the weekend unforgettable!

Just told my boss I`m quitting at the end of June and the good time I had at the weekend was key to coming to that decision.
So I should have a bit of free time to recce some more routes before I start work again.

I've not spent a weekend at home since April, so I'm thinking of takin it easy this week...but then again...you could maybe tempt me to head out for a little while Where are you planning on going?
