Free TKC 80 front tyre to local home

Due to my rear TKC being worn flat, I'm going back onto my Tourance EXP's.

Anyone local wants a lightly worn front, drop me a line. It's yours. Local meaning Suffolk, North Essex, South Norfolk of around Cambridge. I'm not shipping this !

They're great tyres but as i spend most of my time on the tarmac (commuting) and 2-up, it's not worth my time replacing the rear. 2-up the bike feels very unsure.

If you want to treat me to a fried breakfast, that would be much appreciated :thumb2

Well Shad, it's up to you to convince him. Technically I did say local . What does local mean ? :nenau. I certainly ain't going to deliver !
 
Argee, I don't seem able to PM you for some reason.

I'm changing my tyres on Saturday. I'm away the following weekend for a week.

You need to tell me when you want to pick the tyre up as, like I said in the OP, I'm not travelling far to deliver it as it's a freebie :)

Looks fine.

However, we might have a problem ....... I ordered the tyre on Monday a 2-day delivery. Here we are at Friday morning and still no tyre..........

Am about to chase Demon Tweeks for it but have no order nyumber as I can't access my email account since last night. Told my son to text me if it arrives. If it hasn't by 3pm, I'll have to cancel getting the tyres switched over :mad: Next chance won't be until Sat 28th .... :censor:

No front tyre today :(

Got the bike re-booked for Weds. Looks like it'll be a couple of weeks away til I can get the tyre to you. Sorry about that.

To clear up any confusion or any thoughts I might be a blaggard, I was on holiday between the 14th and 22nd and laid up with a chest infection last weekend.

Contacted Rich and hoping to get him the tyre this weekend as the weekend after I'm off to the French Alps climbing for 9 days. Rich, you now need to call me back mate ;)

I may be an arse but i am a man of my word :D

And the difference with the Tourances is stunning. No numb hands on my commute. Less noise, better grip (on road) and no wobble when you really lay the power down. Wife a lot happier on the back too now. I'm getting low enough to have her grip me with her legs - something she doesn't do often enough for my liking ! TKC's - great if you do more miles off-road than on. Crap if you commute on your bike !
