Free to try PHP website

For our future trip away I would like to use a PHP type website so I can update it from internet cafes. Can anyone recommend a free to try then buy PHP model.
Free to try so I can check it out first.
Before now I have used shops from midicart and forums from invision I want something similar but just for people to browse and me to update.

www.blogger.com is very easy and you can link it to you tube and flickr etc.

Yes I can, BUT I prefer to download the source to my machine and upload it to my host. Anyone else got any idea.
Not exactly a blog but a website I can maintain on line without using my own computer.

drupal (linux thing) can be used to build a site and all you need is a server you should also be able to use either web mail or zimbra mail
