Free way to share my ipad/laptop screen with online user?

Is there a free way to share my desktop / ipad2 screen with another user? I'm familiar with Cisco's webex but I'm wondering if there's a free solution? I've heard that you can do it with Skype - is this correct?

I should have said that it's a PC that I have and an iPad - I'd prefer to use the iPad and I've demoed the webex by CISCO app but I can't share the ipad screen.

It does, but I think you have to pay for the iPad app.

Tested it with Skype and it works fairly well although the person viewing my screen couldn't see it full size so there's obviously a resolution issue. If only Skype would bring out a proper ipad app....

TeamViewer is best for desktop screen sharing between iPad2 and desktop. Also, you can try using gomeetnow desktop sharing software if you wish to have view only connection between Desktop and ipad2. Browser is required.

I use logmein, there is an app for it and works well for what i want to do.
