Freeview BBC problems on Topfield 5800 PVR

Dunno if anyone on here watches Freeview on a Topfield 5800 PVR but if you do you may be having a frustrating time when watching BBC channels with constant resets as of yesterday. The problem appears to be related to the July firmware update if installed. Two present solutions seem to be reverting to the December firmware or there is a temporary patch available to download.
