Hi guys,

We're new on this forum because Claudio has asked me to show you this video we shot just recently.

We met this BMW GS fan in an amazing coincidental way up in Vancouver. He's a big LWR/LWD fan and offered to join us on our current trip from Alaska to Argentina down the Pan-American highway.

We shot this kit layout clip in the hotel forecourt in Austin, Texas during some downtime. The guy featured is called Rick Peterson and is a retired USAF helicopter pilot. He packs some much stuff onto his bike, it's pretty amazing and hopefully of use to some people.

Email me at [email protected] if you have any questions or suggestions as to how we can use this clip. Maybe Touratech will be interested? Maybe we should sell it? Let us know please.

If you're also interested, Claudio's latest trip is called Racing Green Endurance and we're shooting and editing clips as we go along on the journey. You can see them here http://www.electric-adventures.com

No smart arse comments from me

properly framed, focused, exposed and with good clean audio. 2 camera shoot with no nauseating camera moves.

Beautifully edited and actually delivered for people to view - high score

I bet somebody clapped at the beginning.

I think touratech have their own highly paid shoot/edit people, unless of course they're giving you stuff or sponsering the trip...

Long Way Up?

Only Ewan and Charley know. Until they decide, we don't know anymore than you.

Thanks for the compliments re: filming.

I was Cam 2. And yes, someone did clap at the beginning!

Good Thread!

And yes - someone did need to ask about The Long Way Up. Charley is probably too busy riding round on his new Bobber!

Really. If we did know anything significant about Long Way Up, we'd hint at it.

I don't think it's imminent though.

As an example of how not-to? He obviously hasn't heard of 'less is more'. Duplication and triplication of gear, no attempt at multiuse of items. Despite all the money he's spent I didn't see a single item that was smaller or lighter than any of my stuff.

The puncture stuff was unbelievable. Taking inner tubes for tubeless tyres is arguable, but taking both front and rear when the front would do both.

I gave it 20 minutes and was getting progressively less positive about the kitchen sink of gear, so killed the video. Yes, Touratech would love it.

I meant that in a good way - the Bobber is a beauty, lucky geezer.:drool

Got bored after four minutes, but can anyone tell me if he packed any condoms?

That fellow is woefully ill equipped - Where are all the pies and bottles of booze meant to go once youve loaded up with all that junk? :D
