The mpg will improve as the engine loosens up. I want to ride the bike in a way that feels normal, neither thrashing the nuts off it nor riding in economy mode.
In touring duties I'm sure I'll see better than 70mpg and commuting my 5 mile journey probably 60+
Anyway, what's wrong with scooters? I currently own three c1s, well they are BMWs !
