Help..!! the bolt which holds the front brake lever in place on my 1100gs is spinning but not coming out, nut even with pulling pressure with vice grips.. I need to replace the seal, any thoughts on how to get the bolt out or should i start searching for replacement master cylinder...!!!!

not trying to be shitty but i would not recomend attempting a mastercylinder seal change without adult supervision if you have never removed a brake lever before.

dont think so...!! the bolt goes up from underneath into the bottom of the resevoir, and you cant get anything on whatever fitting is in there.. its a 94 1100

ok having proved my lack of knowledge with the oil head :augie and seeing as no one else has anything to say on the subject :augie
i recon this

has got siezed into

possibly because the brake fluid has gummed it up or it has corroded from what i can see the K100/1100 16V uses the same pin and lever but there is nylon bush available

which would say to me there was a potential corrosion problem that may cause the problem you are having. penetrating oil and moderate force to may be the answer.

THIS ANSWER IS BASED ON LOOKING AT PICTURES OF THE LEVER AND ASSOCIATED PARTS. SO IT IS POSSIBLE THAT I AM TALKING UTTER SHITE :D
AND ARE WAITING TO BE CORRECTED BY SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS :thumb2:thumb2
