Not at all happy with the front brake feel or stopping power.
:yikes

The bike is an 01 1150 with ABS wich I presume is still fitted with oe pads.
Has anyone else found this, and if so what pads do you reccomend for more power and feel? It could just be me of course, last bike was an R1 so used to one finger stopping power.

Any (clean) suggestions welcomed:whip :whip :spl1f:

brakes

Ifan keep with the originals.aftermarket ones have a orrible habit of wearing the discs out faster. check to make sure pistons aren't sticking in the calipers(pretty common). When was brake fluid last changed?could require replacement. If you're bleedin the brakes -when you've finished leave the lever position on no4 - pump it a couple of times &with the lever pulled in secure the lever to the handlebar with a cabletie for approx 1/4 hr,seems to get last microscopic amounts of air outta the system & youn end up with a decent brake. Also check disc thickness minimum service limit is 4.5mm. hope this helps

.....Panzer Patrol did 42,000 on his using EBC HH pads with no ill effects.........urban myth, I think. Speak up, Panzer!!

EBC double-H are much more effective than standard pads.

You an me both, mate. 500,000 miles in 33 years (and rising). Double H pads in me past 4 bikes for more miles than I care to remember - no appreciable disc wear. Perhaps shouldn't have pointed the finger at Panzer - just wanted a real-life example to quote.
