tried rebuilding the seized calliper on my r80st and now there is a weep between the seal and the piston

will the calliper off a g/s fit instead.
i happen to have a spare one for a g/s but think i heard somewhere there is a difference but cannot remember if it is in the forks or callipers

is there any way to get better brakes on an st

thanks in advance

England Kev has a nice calliper on his ST. get in touch with him, I'm sure hell point you in the right direction.

Tried several caliper mods and managed to pick this one up off fleabay.

Its a Billet "mini 6" caliper - and changes the bike from "death trap" to reasonable

As the name indicates, its got 6 pots.

Expensive - but does the job managed to pick mine up off ebay for about half price.

to twin disc a St would be a few quid as the standard wheel will not let another disc be bolted as it makes the whole thing toooo wide for the forks
You would have to get another wheel or at least another hub off a police spec bike series 7
I would get a bigger caliper and bolt it to yer original forks with a plate/bracket
If I needed more pullupabilaty :thumb2

Bugger, now I'll have to go to plan B (when I work out what plan B is )

Whatever calliper you fit make certain you can get HH rated pads for it.

The PO fitted a 300mm wave disk and four piston Tokico to my G/S, but it wasn't worth a cracker until I fitted EBC HH rated pads - It will lock the front wheel on dry bitumen now.
