If i remove the front wheel and try and rotate the disc back and forward i can induce a light 'knock' from the disc / hub
Have done a search and the top tip seems to be draw a file across the fixing mounting boses on the hub to clean up.
Done this, didnt seem to be any raised sections, re assemble and can still induce the same noise.
Checked bobins all OK with no flat spots, the 'wavy washers' show a little polishing on the high spots, would replacing these be any benifit ?otherwise all well.
Fully aware that there will be some float between disc and hub, the brakes work fine and have no other issues.
Is it one of thoes'all do that Sir!'
Maybe Mr Steptoe could advise

Mine has always done it, even after replacing bobbins, washers and bolts. I think the holes in the discs wear where they touch the bobbins and become bigger so even if you replace the bobbins you still get the knock. I've never tried the filing thingy because I don't understand how it should affect this play. I eventually decided to live with it ;)
