This morning my 2011 GSA ticked over to 30k miles. This afternoon, to celebrate this milestone the front shock decided to spew its oil all over the front of the bike :barf I had read that they tend to last around 30k miles but I wasn't expecting it to be this exact!

I've put a wanted ad up and am hoping someone who has upgraded will have one they are willing to sell so I don't have to wait for mine to be reconditioned as I ride the bike every day. It is the later WP type ESA apparently.

Can anyone advise me if I risk any further damage to the bike or the ESA system if I continue to ride until I can source a replacement? On my commute home the front of the bike seemed fine and it appears that the handling is not impacted enough to make it dangerous but I don't want to risk doing any further damage.

Thanks
Mike

You won't damage the bike unless the pogo-ing front end takes you out.
Check the problem really is the front shock. They generally last much longer than the rear.

fifefox racing ,keithley west yorkshire will fix/refurb it for you mate for a fair bit less than you think :thumb
