I fitted one of these to the front mudguard of my 1150 in an attempt to stop crud buildup on the header pipes.

After a few muddy outings this buildup is even worse.

I've seen a few bikes with a plate attached to the front of the bashplate, this works far better. Problem is they have to be custom made as there dosen't seem to be a supplier.

Save yourself £20 and have a curry instead. Fenda Extender = crap.

Try this www.adventurersworkshop.com they do a front plate as you describe. It is $35 in a pair with a bash plate extender. Don't know if they ship to the UK but with the exchange rate the way it is.........

I bought an extender made of rubber sheet from a UKGSer from Norn Iron.

It looks good IMO and does what it says on the tin.

About £12 too.

A search'll find him.

ISTR somebody here posting a pic of a Vespa front mudflap fitted to a GS. Looked like feck-all but worked a treat, apparently
