true, I got mine lowered because I prefer the comfort of the sargent seat, it was actually ok on the soft origonals, but I replaced those with ohlins, which were much better, but sagged a lot less, I actually ran it round on the standard ohlins rear and the lowered wilbers front, turned in pretty quick like that, but now fitted the lowered wilbers rear

Ahhh... of course. I forgot. The Sargent seat is 1" lower than the OEM. It's a shame they can't produce seats in different heights... they can't/won't - I asked them.
no good for me that... I had the opposite problem. and now have a seat thats 3" higher. (it's not easy being a freak)
By setbacks I mean moving the bars closer to you so its less of a stretch.
you will most likely have to 'special order' new shocks with the adjustments you need. - the 'Wilbers' brand is quite popular and offer that as an option.
