Not wishing to be alarming but has anyone heard of problems with front forks failing on above models? Someone posted me an article that BMW South Africa has recognized this problem which causes sudden sheer in the forks after prolonged use off road or on bad surfaces. Totally new to me but apparently the article writer BMW Club Belgium is now taking this up with BMW Germany to find the official stance. Article appeared in motorcycle magazine in Belgium.
