Front shock has given up on my 2014 LC ESA 1200 gs

The front shock ESA on my 2014 LC GS has given up. My bike is a factory lowered version I believe, so my question is, do I need to fit a smaller shock than standard when I replace it, or is it the internal parts that are different. I don’t want to buy a standard shock if it won’t fit into the frame mounting points. Thanks

Is it the ESA unit that is gone or the shock?

There are no dash warnings, so not the esa, but have oil leaking from the shock
