Gang,

needing your advice/help, I'm needing to replace the wheel bearings in a set of 1150RT cast wheels.

I've checked both Motorworks 32 quid

and moto-bins site appears to say the one I need won't fit, though the photo says different ? 37 quid

Ebay only seem to do the metal shielded type cheaply but the rubber sealed ones are about the same price as other on-line suppliers

so I found an on-line place simplybearing.co.uk (26 quid)

now heres the question, is there a huge difference in quality in bearings ? I've heard motorbike are actual a huge load on bearing compared to what there designed for ?
and the clearance factor C2 (less than standard),C3 (standard),C4 (more than standard) and since both bearings I too out the wheels don't have any markings stating a C type, I'm assuming if it's not marked on the bearing then it'll be a C3 ?

Left hand side
markings: 6204LU size: 20x47x14
Would this do ?

Right hand side
markings: 3204 2RS 972 size: 20x47x20
would this do ?

Any advice would be grateful
cheers
Roddy

I got the bearing sorted out, and fitted all seems okay :)

the 2RS bit is just a code to state there sealed bearings using rubber seals

ZZ means metal shield sealed bearings
