Hi Phil.

Thanks.

These little things of mine have proved quite popular, so yesterday I went to see the chap who did the machining for me, and asked if he'd do some more - and he's quite happy to do that.
So, I'll organise another batch and put a post up when they're available.
I haven't negotiated a price with him yet, but it should be the same.
It will take a few weeks to organise, but I will do it, so if you want one, keep an eye on here, and please be patient with me.

Phil

is this tool still available, if so, how do I buy one?

same tool that removes VW (and others) gearbox plugs works and is available over the counter at most motorist shops ;)

Front wheel spindle removal tool

Hi people,

I wonder if somebody could clarify once and for all whether the front wheel spindle removal tool is 21mm or 22mm, it seems the professionally manufactured tools are advertised as 21mm but all the threads I have read and peoples locally manufactured tools are 22mm.

I'm trying to put together a useful gucci toolkit but before I blew a load of hard earnt lolly on a front wheel spindle removal tool that I may or may not use I thought I'd ask.

I suppose the easy way would be to measure it but thought perhaps I'd throw it out there to the wider GS population for advice! :thumb
