Front wheel width query

Hey guys,

I put a massive dent in my front rim over Easter when i was hooning around Southern Scotland with a pal. We stopped at a farm who lent me a big hammer and a piece of steel to knock it back to something like, then we rode to Dumfries where TC Tyres (a good man if you ever need help in that area) helped me out some more. Anyway the rim is totalled, so I've put my spoked wheels back in for now.
I managed to get hold of another wheel from a guy who listed it as coming from a 1250TE 2020, but after inspecting the wheel, its marked as being 2.5" wide rather than 3" for both my other wheels. Can someone please confirm their wheel width for me? its cast into the centre part of the hub on the right hand non abs side.

If its not a GS rim, then which other model could it be from? apart from the width it looks identical to my old one.

Just checked on mine, 2021GS with cast wheels.

From 2013 the 1200/1250 gs models has had a 3.0 x 19 front rim, guessing it is from a new model f750gs as it uses a 2.5 x 19.

I know when my brother in law had a f850gs the front wheel had the same hub fitment as my r1200gs lc

Yes I'm thinking your correct. The hub and spokes are identical to the 1200/1250.

I just hope the guy gets back in touch after his holiday, and i've not just been properly shafted.
