Is that like a Leica ?

Leica use Panasonic electrics ... tweeked a bit to their liking, they say!
Panasonic use Leica lens' on some of their models.

I don't know if Leica did a D-Lux 7 but for instance their D-Lux 5 (which I've got) is virtually the same camera as the Panasonic LX-5
More expensive for sure, you're paying for the little red dot, but come with three year full guarantee and latest LightRoom editing

I've also got the Leica D-Lux (typ 109) which is the 'same' camera as the Panasonic LX100

Thanks Dean, it certainly is a grand place and I really love the bike too, had it from new for the last 10 years - I guess she's a keeper now

Seems like it's derived from Norse word, Frigg meaning a small valley 7 bastardised into English over the years turning into Fryup

Like Mick says, a bit of TLC and proper servicing - not leaving them covered in clart

Decent quality accessories and protection where needed

The bike in these pics is 10 years old and has done 30k - it has zero corrosion, every spoke nipple shines, it's been toured on, in wet and dry and has been offroad on gravel roads in Slovenia, with Mick

The other black GSA is coming up to 50k and same age, it's not quite as good (because it has had 2 previous owners) - but many comment on how clean it looks, all the same

Been doing a motorcycle Trial tonight, bike is filthy.............but will be cleaned in the morning, re-oiled and fettled and checked over - some other Trials bike (newer than mine) look absolute sheds, never washed

You can't fettle/check/care for a dirty bike and care for it properly.................I don't care what some others say, it ain't possible
