Sme again.
The fuel tank was raised the other day, while the extra lights were being fitted, and left jacked upon a block of wood. Since then the fuel display has been erratic. Start up and it registers correct, I.e. I just filled it up,so know it was reading correct. Run for a while and the bars drop down to 2, 3 ,4 ish. Stop bike and gauge reads correct.
Something along these lines happened before when the QD 'O' rings were replaced by the dealer, but not as bad.. The fuel readout was just reading a little low. Is this something that will correct itself with time?
Bike still under warrantee.

suggested undoing the connection block under the cover, which is on the r/h side under the tank. Sprayed it with ACF50. Voila! One correctly reading fuel gauge.
