Fuel economy of new 2026 F 900GS

Hi I am considering moving from my GS1250 to a 2026 model 900GS (not Adv version) although comments welcome. Mainly my riding will be by road. I just cannot get use to the idea of a 14.5 litre tank seems so small. How many miles do you manage before the fuel warning light and how many after the fuel warning light until near dry tank.

You'll see near enough 200 miles if you ride at a reasonable speed. My mate has one and averages 60 mpg mostly.

I toured on bikes with a tank about that size or only marginally bigger. You are ‘on road’ in Western Europe, you’ll not run out of fuel or be unable to buy any.

If you really must fixate about range / fuel economy….. buy a Himalayan 450. The money saved you can spend on…. Um…. Fuel.
